Dr Michael Zacharia: Upper Face

A brow lift – also known as a foreheadplasty or a forehead lift – is a cosmetic surgery procedure intended to rejuvenate and improve a person’s appearance by correcting the shape of the eyebrows and upper eyelids, raising sagging skin while reducing wrinkles (horizontal and/or vertical) and frown lines in the skin of the forehead. This gives the face a more open, youthful look. The skin looks refreshed and younger, especially when combined with eyebrow elevation. Some patients elect to combine these two procedures, and have them performed while also undergoing a facelift or Rhinoplasty.
